a personal telephone visit Tuesday, Jan 8, Nel Holmes reports that she is doing
much better than&nbsp;a month ago, that the major infection she was battling is
now diminished although IV treatment continues for it each
night,&nbsp;and&nbsp;that she is now engaged in physical therapy. Things are
looking up even though she has a long road road of recovery and rehabilitation
ahead of her.&nbsp; </span></p>

she is now hoping that within a few weeks she may have improved enough that she
