One Hundred Women

being sought by

Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center: Where Women Find their Way

Today is Leap Day of the Leap Year 2008. This seems like the perfect
day for Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center to take its next leap in
becoming an independent entity on this earth! The center needs the help
of, at least, One Hundred Women to do this.

Jane Koger, the owner of the ranch where the center is located, has
generously supported this ministry since its inception in June, 2001 by

*	inviting the center to locate here and providing the buildings
*	fully funding the ministry for the first two years
*	allowing the center to remain here rent-free for six and a half
years
*	covering the costs of all repairs, large and small

It's time for Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center to take on the
responsibilities of the repairs as a way to thank Jane for her years of
dedicated financial assistance and to assure her that the center is
becoming more and more independent.

Repairs at Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center were $9,000 in 2007. This
was an exceptionally costly year because the well went dry and a new
connection to water was necessary. Already this year maintenance at the
retreat center has included a new generator (during the ice storm of
December 2007), a load of wood for the wood stove, and a new belt for
the dryer. Other needs are expected (repairs for the riding mower,
purchase of new push mower, and paint for starters), some repairs and
maintenance will be unexpected, and then there is the wish list (burying
the electrical lines, building a hermitage for individuals on retreat,
saving the barn, and more).

Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center is seeking One Hundred Women to
donate $10 a month ($120 for the year) to help support the repairs,
maintenance and future growth of this ministry.

If you are one of the One Hundred Women wanting to support Tallgrass
Spiritual Retreat Center and all this ministry has to offer women who
are actively involved with their spiritual journey, please send your tax
deductible donation to:

Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center

1780 Thurman Creek Road

Matfield Green, KS 66862

Please consider sending an additional tax-deductible donation

in honor of, or in memory of, a special woman in your life.

If this request is larger than your budget will allow this year, please
know that donations of any size are appreciated and, if you are unable
to financially support Tallgrass, your prayers are greatly appreciated!

Thank you all for

caring about, believing in, attending and supporting

 Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center.

Blessings,

Rev. Billie Blair, Director

Successful results of previous calls for One Hundred Women include:

2004

Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center sought One Hundred Women to donate $5
each in order to raise the $500 application fee required by the IRS for
the Center to apply for 501(c)3 status (non-profit). The money was
raised in 2 weeks! And the Center's application was approved!

2005

Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center sought One Hundred Women to donate
$10/month for 12 months in order to raise $12,000 to support the
Center's general budget for one year. $9,034 was raised that year.

2006

Tallgrass Spiritual Retreat Center sought One Hundred Women to donate
$14 each in order to raise $1400 for the Director, Rev. Billie Blair, to
attend the International United Methodist Clergywomen's Consultation in
Chicago in August. The needed funds were raised within two weeks.

Thank You!
