[Kansasumc] FW: Prayer concern

Janet Elliott, Lisa Diehl's mom and Carol Moore Ramey's sister, will have surgery Thursday late morning or early afternoon to have her hip fixed. She is in the hospital in Manhattan. A friend of ours works for the orthopedic practice that will do the surgery, and she's checked on my parents. They both seem to be in good spirits after their traumatic day. Evidently mom had laid there for a while before Dad found her. Then he took her by car to the hospital. I'm sure she was in a lot of pain during this, but she sounded good when I spoke to her before she was transferred to Manhattan.
 
I've received many notes of support, and we thank you for them. Please continue to keep her in your prayers Thursday and in the days to come as she begins her recovery.

Lisa Diehl's mother, Janet Elliott, fell today and broke her hip. She was in Clay Center and will be transferred by ambulance to Manhattan, where they will decide how they're going to fix her up. The break is between the ball and the femur. She may or may not have surgery today because it will depend on the surgery schedule.
