[Kansasumc] Rev. Sam Owen information update

Rev. Samuel J. Owen passed away Saturday, April 7, 2007. Sam was 52
years old.

 

Owen served pastorates in the Oklahoma Conference; in the Kansas East
Conference at Melvern UMC; in the Kansas West Conference at Herrington
UMC, Solomon Yoke UMC and Hill City UMC; and in the Western New York
Conference.

 

He is survived by his wife, Rev. Manilla Owen, and son, Brantley James
Owen.

 

The memorial service will be at 10 a.m. April 11 at Pavilion United
Methodist Church, 11115 E Park, Pavilion NY 14525. Rev. Daniel Finch
will officiate. 

 

The arrangements are being handled by H.E. Turner & Co Funeral Home, 403
E. Main St., Batavia NY 14020.

 

Cards could be sent to the family in care of the church or the funeral
home.
